I slipped!

Hi. I'm on Ritalin for ADD. I used to snort it. I was comin up on three years clean & I started snortin again last night! I wanna go back to takin only what is perscribed me & take it by mouth. I have to recover on my own, cuz I need the medication for my ADD & to help me stay awake. Right now I'm tryin not to use for an hour at a time. It's freakin hard. I'll update tomorrow, once I sleep it off, it should be outta my system tomorrow.

I believe you need to be weaned from that stuff very, very gradually.

Ritalin was not my drug of choice but others who have posted here in the past have also mentioned how hard it was to stop taking it and most couldn't do it without help. You need alot of support. You might want to consider going to detox eventually.

Unforutnately, I know Ritalin and Adderall far too well. Do whatever it is you have to do to get away from that stuff. It starts out fun.....but later I began to realize that the fun stopped too quickly and my tolerance was through the roof. It got to be far too expensive to sustain what I needed. I know you know all this, but I hope you know that I'm here sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. Take care of yourself!!

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
