I'm back - DNL issues keep coming back
butfish4grief
I am so nervous that my stomach is rolling around. I've starting vomiting over all of my household problems I'm trying very hard to be strong but things have really gotten me down.
My DNL started using drugs again. I caught her in the early stages of her relapse. (I think) She may have been using and managed to hide it from me. Any way I got her back in a hospital and upon her release I refused for her to come home. I said she no longer could live in my home. We were not going to enable anything anymore and are taking charge of our lives and home.
Now that this is done it essentially put my son out also. The are now pretty much on the street. I did get a phone call that they are stayng in hotels until they can find and apartment. I know they don't have money for any apartment either so I don't know what they are doing.
Some times I feel as though the worry such as I have now is worse han having them live with me and going through all he drug problems. I just cannot hold up under the worry of if hey are even able to eat. I do believe my son is working every day or nearly so that is positive.
How can I keep myself together. I am crumbling and when I get this way I go to bed at night hoping I don't wake up. The pain I feel is overwhelming. I've had so many heartaches in my life I just can't stand any of it anymore. What can I do to pull myself up when I am sinking like this?

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Have you talked to a professional therapist? I think that'd be extremely beneficial for you. I think it's something you should really think about and consider :)
Find your inner strength and hang in there...you've made it through many things before...and you can make it through this, but perhaps you can't do it alone, that's why I suggest you see a professional.
Message me anytime...I am here for you.

Tough love is difficult! It took alot of courage for you to take control of your life and home again! You have more inner strength then you give yourself credit for!
Please hang in there and give Al-Anon a try. You won't be dissappointed!
God Bless and TC!
