I'm not a doctor but, I don't think your "allergic" to this med I think it's just a side effect. How long have you been on hydro's? If your really taking 3 a day that isn't too bad, but if your taking them to get high then that can be a problem. Your tolerance to this med will slowly start to increase making it more and more difficult to obtain an Rx. Most Dr's don't like to "up" the dosage or pill quantity without there being red flags, You need to talk to your dr about finding a better treatment plan other then opiates. I know it's tough especially if you suffer from Chronic Pain. I too am a CP sufferer, I started out taking one vicoden a day, then after 4 years I got up to 160mg of oxycodone a day. And it didn't even take the edge off the pain. I'm now on Suboxone, helps with the opiate addiction, but not so much the Chronic pain anymore. Once your tolerance level gets high it never goes back down.

I think you are just having a side effect from this med, but I'm not a Dr so you may want to ask your Dr..

I was told in another group that I should not be getting these side effects from (3) 5/325 hydro's spread out through the day.
I guess I should go back to the dr and let them know whats going on.
I would hate not to have anything for my pain,but I also do not want to be taking something that may do me harm.

I don't think those few pills have anything to do with it. There may be something else going on. You better talk to your doctor and let him know about it.

I know they have to have something to with it because it only happens when i take them.I also take a calcium channel blocker for my blood pressure.Maybe its the mix.Thanks for the advice.I will be contacting my dr.

Maybe it is the mix. There are other blood pressure medicines and other pain meds as well. Let us know what your doctor says?

15 days without opiates or benzos!!
I can't say i feel 100 %,but I am glad to have the 15 days behind me.
I had to go to detox to do it.The withdrawls from the benzos were to much for me and i felt like I was going insane,so I spent 9 days in a detox.I am told that it takes a while to feel some what normal after benzo withdrawl.I feel like if like if I was able to make it through those first 5 or 6 days of hell I will be able to deal with any anxieties that I have in the future.

I know what it is like to detox from hydros. Just got it done myself. I feel better and in less pain without the meds. I think it causes kick back pain. Plus you are just waiting for the next dose all the time. Good job!! As I have said, detox is not for sissies. I did it at home, with the help of a friend. I was a VERY unpleasant few days. But, better sick a few days than a life time of drug abuse.
