Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I also used those wristbands---didn't work.
Ginger candies--didn't work.
Crackers---for sure didn't work.
I'm sorry, but nothing really worked for me when I was sick. Mine lasted from 6 weeks through 16 weeks. I am now 21 weeks and for the most part I feel great, but I still get barfy feeling occasionally---especially when I need food or sleep. I am constantly eating something, at least every 2-3 hours. At night when I just don't feel well, I go to sleep before I feel worse.
Good luck with your sickness! I hope it doesn't last too long.
How far along are you?
Try eating constantly, that is all that is helping me! Regular cheerios and some fruit seems to last longer in my system!
Sorry that you are feeling so aweful : (
I agree that eating little and often is a good idea. Have a snack before you start feeling hungry.
Unfortunately feeling sick is a pregnancy side effect that lots of us suffer from.
