not something that ive ever heard of...i actually heard that aspirin is someting that should be avoided during pregnancy....i hope everything is ok...keep us posted.

I've also heard it's not something good to take, although baby asprin is such a low dose I can't see it doing much. Did they find something wrong with your baby's kidneys on a scan? Please keep us posted and hang in there ((((Hugs)))))

Oh no I am sorry I did not explain myself very well. I have been having terrible migraines and they put me on a calcium blocker and a baby aspirin to stop them. They said because of me being on baby aspirin they wanted to have a specialist look at the baby's kidneys and the amount of fluid that is around the baby. He also said he might be looking at the amount of fluid around the baby weekly after I see the specialist.

I have been on a baby aspirin a day for most of my pregnancy - because my hubby has clotting factor issues and they wanted to make sure that baby didn't have them, too (especially since I have had two miscarriages)

Both my regular OB/GYN and the perinatologists I have seen have said this is o.k. The main reason they don't advise taking regular aspirin during pregnancy (especially late in the game) is because it thins your blood and can cause more bleeding at delivery.

They would not give it to you unless the benefits to you outweighed the possible risks. So far my baby girl is healthy, growing and VERY active.

I wouldn't worry about it. Do what they advise.
