I know she moved out for good reasons - mostly to start over with new friends and establish residency in CA so she can start back on her schooling. She is majoring in History with a goal of either teaching or museum curator. Being the kid of a disabled vet, if she jumps through the right hoops, she gets free tuition at all state schools and Universities. (It also put enough distance between her and the a-hole boyfriend who has since broken up with her).
But my baby is home!!! She is currently working for a haunt company that is doing haunted camping up and down the West Coast. Last weekend she was in Sacramento CA. This weekend up here in the Seattle area. Next weekend will be in Portland, OR and after that San Diego. The company is not paying for anything, just hours worked, so she is not really making any money - but she is having SO much fun.
She says that oddly enough, as the company is based in LA, most of the other people are actual working actors. She is working side by side with people who are making a living as actors, and here she is a kid (22 years old) who has just been working haunted corn mazes. She is playing a hillbilly.
She got here late this morning. She caught a ride with two other people. All three of them are now crashed in her old room. There is a queen sized bed and we tossed in a twin bed. It is not the best accommodations, but the price is right!
When she leaves next Thursday, she will take our sedan with her. We will get it put in her name while she is here. That way, if she has to crash in her car, she can. It also just got out of the shop and right now is our best running vehicle. It has a V6 engine, so my hope was to get a tow hitch and light hook up for her, so she could tow a small trailer. That was the plan... give her the car and the small trailer for her birthday next month - but she needs the car now. That leaves hubby and I with my SUV - which is what we drive anyway.
I had to take my morning nap when my daughter crashed (she has been awake for 30 hours), but now I am the only one awake in the house. Hubby went to lay down (he has not really recovered from being sick a couple weeks ago, I am wondering if I need to take him back to the Dr...). I am so excited I am having trouble sitting still. I will do laundry, that is not too taxing.
I am so excited and happy about her being here that I am just numb about having two people I don't know in the house. Usually that would send me spiraling into a panic.
Tomorrow I have it set up with the stable owner that she is going to haul the horses out to the good trails and the three of us are going for a long trail ride. I just can't wait, I am so excited. I have to be careful not to do too much and hurt myself before we go riding.

I know about the panic-numb of peope in the house---even ones I know throw me for loops. PRayers and healing vibes of peace to you.
Company can be exciting. Hopefully your daughter can take care of the two that she rode in with. Never know. Ya might enjoy them, too. Here's hoping.
Oh, Lilly, I so hope we can have fun. There is a thrunderstorm moving in tonight so the trail ride tomorrow has been canceled for safety reasons. We will still go out and play, but no great trails.
Oh happy company Arfie!!! As the people I don't know are working 12 hour nights all weekend, I only have a couple days to actually interact with them at most - and they really plan to spend most of the time sightseeing as neither has been to Seattle before.
I am going to walk the dogs than head for bed... I don't want to deal with today any longer
