Apologies to any newcomers for skipping over background information. I have been working through an intense family drama and don't have the energy or inclination to repeat myself. Don't worry about it if this makes no sense to you.
Wa-a-a-ay back when Personal Computers were still new and small engineering operations were first making the transition from manual drafting to CADD, I was circulating the circuit as a contract CADD drafter and designer, helping to make that transition. I only set up the system and trained the personnel. I never have had the emotional stability for the on-going grind. One of the talents which earned me referrals during this phase of my unspecialized career was, "Dream Solving." http://www.asdreams.org/journal/articles/barrett3-2.htm That is where one goes to sleep puzzling over a problem in a project they are working on and wakes up with the solution. This is not to be confused with an internet search engine. At least, not in my bumbling talent. I have no conscious control over it, there is no clear pattern I have found and the process can make sleep more exhausting than staying awake. I later found a similar theory circulating the linguistic circles as a student of language moves into fluency in a foreign language, which later merged with psycho-therapy dealing with nightmares and flashbacks connected to my "Trauma Induced Amnesia." I am not at all sure I am saying this clearly...
Last night my beloved and I sealed off three of the bee hives. One of the hives didn't seal well, so it looks like we will only be moving two hives today. The learning adventure has been thoroughly sprinkled with emotional processing of "The Little Mall on the Prairie" episodes which necessitated moving the hives. We are doing well, I think, but it is still ALLOT to tackle all at one time. Maybe sometimes Life will get around to reading the books on "Small Steps" and Zen Balance.
Did you notice the hour of this post? My dreams have been seriously weird the last few nights. Not nightmares, but super weird. Tonight I have been waking every hour or so with yet another weird dream to contemplate. Lots of secret rooms and social conspiracies. After this last one I decided to get up and do some writing to collect my thoughts. Here I am.
Theories and/or reality checks welcome. Am I dream solving????
For now, back to bed for me. Hopefully to sleep, perchance to dream.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I think I'm subconsciously sorting, but that may be a kind lie I'm telling myself. If it is a lie, I like it, so I'm sticking with it. Beats the alternative for me, which would be: "Your meds are all failing, let's go play spin the prescription."
Luck with the bees, and blessings on the move and the mini-series drama of Little Mall.... and gentle purring support.
Supportive vibes,
Leo
PS I was up at 4 AM myself.... I sympathize.
I am thinking this dream series might be "filing dreams." Just thinking. Knot knowing. I believe my sub-conscious is taking the processed information and putting it in the appropriate "file cabinets." The mud is settling???
I will hope for the bee-sting therapy in hands being successful, too.
I keep thinking of my great-aunt who used her dainty little kidskin gloves... hmmm....maybe that's her secret to staying spry, she was actually getting quite the bee-sting therapy and just never told us....
Blessings on the bees and their keepers. Project Butterfly is going for another try this year here: Sheltering various native species of cocooned darlings to enhance their survival rate. Long may the pollinators fly.
This is just from my experiences with going through what everybody is talking about going through, sorry you are, by the way. It sucks.
It was like 'sorting', 'filing', my issues being worked out through dreams.
Things that I realized, hey this is what it is all surfacing!
At one point in my therapy, I got into dream interpretation.
Afterward, I started *writing*; wake up, *write*; wake up,... it helps!
I agree with you on the 'subconscious' taking processed information, and filing it into appropriate 'file cabinets.'
I filled many paper/journals up in many years. It worked really well.
The human mind is an awesome piece of machinery!!
Sort on !
The other 4 hives are condensed and strapped. Time to extract honey and pack up the "supers." Tonight we will seal off the hives, tomorrow we move them. Thursday we move the odds and ends.
To just put a positive spin on this, after a while it became to me so very intriguing, interesting,... and what a science to figure out our dreams it can be!
I started journaling my own nightmares, dreams and hallucinations in the 70's, before my condition was called PTSD. Back then it was, "Just plain nuts." I have developed quite a few theories... Sometimes think I want to turn those theories into a book. I don't much agree with the Traditional Dream Interpretation, but I don't think we should be trying to "cure" them, either.
So I can imagine how this final step of sealing and moving hives brings mourning with it, and mourning gets into our sleep. So sorry about all of this. If you get to interpret dreams, that will be great. But I hope for just getting rest for you now, too.
Much support to you!
The experiment here was whether the husband's family tree can grow a potential that will out-live his father's private, five-star nursing home. There we grieve. Mostly for great-grandmother. We still believe great-grandfather enjoys his professional ladies more than she does, but, as great-grandfather has preached for my husband's entire life, "It is just none of your business." Great-grandmother preached with him for as long as she was able, so we can let the wonder over her welfare go with relative ease. Great-grandfather and his staff know best.
It be a tougher grieving process for my beloved than it is for me. I never have felt classy or educated enough to be a member of the family, so there is not so much to grieve for me. It is just another place where I do not fit in. Even hubs is ready to admit that his father's business and family will never mix, not even now that the family home, converted to a nursing home, is all the business his father has. It is a business that consumes massive resources with zero chance of profit. The brother and his family have officially graduated to professionally detached strangers on the other side of a business executive's professionally detached business. Detachment rules. Inventory complete. We must be living in The Light Ages where electric lights have replaced enlightenment.
For me, the good news is that now Hubs is ready consider locations outside of Texas. I am so-o-o-o-o-o ready to be away from these boom state stresses. But... Small steps and big faith. Follow the buzz.
Cairo, Illinois is my first vote for retirement locale... Wee see...
