I know people are trying help and I'm doing the EMDR thing and that stuff, which i know is why my anxiety is so high now that I'm going through all the memories and stuff of being stalked, I want to talk to my friends and people about how I'm feeling, but I don't think they understood the amount of fear I feel from having to remember all this stuff of when he called me, texted me, skype messaged and skype called and made a fake skype account just to contact me but I dont' think anyone really understands the fear it causes just by remembering it and I just feel so alone right now.

I'm alive, I'm sleeping like a rock, and for some reason I wanted cherry juice so that seems to be helping. (??? Weirdo that I am.)***Infamous therapies over history:1. The Attic. Welcome to the Perseid meteor showers, the "biggies" usually every year. (The Leonids beat 'em one year IMHO).AND today much of the northern hemisphere will see 5 to 99% solar eclipse. How cool is that? Your best bet is to be in the UK or norhtern Spain, where totality is excellent before sundown. it is extra hard when people close to you cannot seem to understand, i know that it is really hard. i hope it helps to have us here, to know we are real people who do get it.
TW, (stands for trigger warning), i was hunted by an abuser when i left him, for years afterwards, he only wanted me to know that he could find me and hurt me if he wanted to, it was so scary. nobody could understand that a person would want to do something like that, they just couldn't get that sort of crazy or how terrifying it was to try to act as if i was ok knowing it was going on. why couldn't i just get over it.
i decided it was probably best that they didn't know what it was like. they don't seem able to empathise.
are you also seeing a dr while going for therapy? i ask because there are medications that can help a lot to get you through this first most difficult part of the emdr. it is worth asking your therapist to refer you if you are not already seeing a psych dr.

That's why, just speaking for myself, talk therapy was what I pursued more than any other kind. And I made sure to switch from regular therapists to a PTSD specialist with years of VA experience who took my case on the side. That was the kind of therapist who really understood. Much support to you.
