This morning finds me spinning wildly in the webs of why. Why am I tripping over the carelessly tossed possessions of adult sons? Why am I caught in the middle of their adult territory disputes? Why don't I know if Eldest Son has fed the animals, or not? Why can't I just knock on his narcoleptic bedroom door to ask? Why is my beloved still in the hospital 3 days after a simple out-patient procedure? Why is all this happening all at once? Why can't I just go out and play on what looks to be shaping up to a beautiful day? And the why's just keep coming through every thread of my life. Sticky, icky business... Mostly I think I am avoiding ... Spinning a cocoon??? Go away world and leave me alone!!!!
My beloved's condition continued to worsen yesterday. Yet another "simple procedure" was performed yesterday afternoon. When I gave wings to my flight reflexes yesterday evening, it was still too soon if the latest "simple procedure" had done its job.
It has taken me an unusually long time to type this. Lots of re-typing going on. Hubsy texted over the course of this typing. The text said he was feeling better. He has been getting up to get his own ice. He has not eaten since Wednesday night. Hearing issues make phones a risky proposition for me, but I decided to risk a call. His voice had cleared up ALLOT. Those gravely tones I find so difficult to distinguish had given way to the clear tenor I am accustomed to hearing. We talked a goodly while. In the end, we decided it would be better for me to go out and play in that beautiful sunshine. The bees need tending and the compost needs turning... Time to get my buzz on. Bees and compost smell MUCH better than medical establishments.
Thanks for letting me ramble...

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I've had huge doses of the Whys. I've snapped pretty badly a few times. Kudos to you, and continued prayres for you and yours...
I'm glad you're getting your buzz on, that does sound better than hospital machines unless you're me and extremely allergic to them there bees that go buzz lol
Hang in there Arfie!! Big hugs to you!!!
They "why mode" is never a fun mode to be in. :/
Then the universe hands you this Dagwood-sized crap sandwich. I was really miffed with the universe on your behalf about that. Several annoyed monologues were delivered by me to the cosmos to that effect.
So I am very, very happy you got contact from your hubby even as you were writing the start of this thread, and that it indicated there was a break in the gloomy clouds. It must have been a joy to hear healing in his voice. Enjoy your time outside now, in the sunshine, arfie.
Speaking of which, I forgot to eat again...
Got the compost turned and the chickens fed. Can't seem to find my bee zone. Might go for a nap instead... Hubs has a picking buddy visiting at the hospital today.
