hi guys. i don’t really know what to do.... my trauma went on for about 6 months and that was like two or three years ago and i’m still nowhere close to getting over it. i want to feel better and not have flashbacks to being assaulted nearly everyday and i thought flashbacks and nightmares and fears and panic attacks would go away by no but they haven’t and i’m becoming hopeless. i want to die and disappear and kill myself because i’m afraid i will never feel better so what’s the point? i’m not enjoying life and i don’t think i ever will again so what’s the point of continuing living?

Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it. Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.

Maybe making new friends or finding old friends will help you too. Because it's helped me. I know we're all different. And each person's trauma is different also. But you aren't the only one out there. I'm here. And so are many others. :)
The good news is that there are allot of things you can do to ease those symptoms. You just did one of those things when you posted here. It sure helps me to know I'm not alone with ^it^.
Gentle support while you learn more things you can do to ease the symptoms. Welcome aboard. You are not alone.
I'm hoping that's true for myself and for you. So my only contribution is to say keep writing your feelings for yourself and share here what ever you are comfortable with sharing. triple hugs
