Hi guys
I know that I have come on here and there and most times when I log on I do not post. And if I post I took forever to log back on. A lot has been happening. I got very sick a month ago and my doctor (rheumatologist) was concerned and come to find out others were too. My doctor increased my meds ( feeling somewhat better but have to take it easy). I was looking in for a while and started to go back to church.
I had DSW after DSW and found an awesome one but she left two weeks ago (because she works full time and is a full-time mom and is going back to school next month with a full-time degree). She recommended her friend who started last week Mon but does not know how to take "No' for an answer and this time I cannot be pressured into saying yes when I do not need anything at this time. This past week my case manager the main one said that I need to go back to an agency aid because she is concerned about this person and me.
I had gone out two weekends back to back and yes, I ended up drained. I have to be resting more even if it means sitting down. I have not really been watching much TV because i am tired and a lot going on. I however a few months ago went to the theater twice back to back. It was good but I had to pay physically for having fun.
I am doing two ASL groups and a lot of zoom events which is weird because my eyes aren't good and both my eyes doctors are trying. I may have to do eye therapy. Talking about therapy, two weeks ago I had a camera go through my nose into my throat to see my voice box (please remain me never to do it again and run if any doctor spray my nose). The only thing is that they found out why I was losing my voice at times especially when I talk a lot from zoom to zoom. And now I have voice therapy. I try not to think about it between the exercises for my fingers, eyes, voice, and treatment for my eyes which is a long list. Plus see my 14-16 doctors, speech therapist, and an individual therapist. Plus a lot more things. My doctors and others stated that they are amazed at my upbeat spirit for someone so sickly BUT lol, I am surprised too, knowing me.
I saw a new neurologist and ran before he could do any tests. Do not have time for a rude doctor's office. But I have to see a Neurolomusclaur specialist anyways. I am supposed to be receiving an AAC Ipad and will use it because I have to rest my voice at times. I think it is good because I need to talk less, I used. I have a lot more going on but will stop here.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
Here with you friend. You are so strong. I hope at the moment I’m writing this you’re having a good rest.
Sending support, strength & many prayers
Big hug <3
But I know for sure of two things. 1. No more camera through my nose. And 2. No more messing with my eyes and what I went through.
I have an nervous conduct test and a EMG to do and to be honest I don't know if I should run away. Been honest.
Aww yea I understand, when I had to get a nerve conduct test I felt the same way, when I got there I wanted to just run away, I was so glad when it was over, I was a little soar the rest of the day after, had to rest a little - but was happy later that night that I got it over with. I actually am going to have to get another one at some point too because that was years ago. I never had an EMG so I don’t know how those go but I promise I’ll be praying for you.
I know what you mean about feeling strong. Sometimes I wonder if when we feel we are at our weakest maybe we are really be our strongest? I don’t know, but it would be nice to have a little break from having to be so strong all the time wouldn’t it. Sorry lol I think I’m rambling.
Sending you lots of support, hope & gentlest of hugs <3
