So, through my employer I accessed a counsellor and over a phone call explained my current state of mind and health issues. She suggested that my first priority should be to give my body time to heal after the operation. Then once I was fit enough start exercising more and that would help with with my mental well being.
Just reinforcement that what I was going through and feeling was normal and that I would get through it. So the feeling of hopelessness and loneliness continues. Unfortunately, I think I am becoming too comfortatable being alone and am beginning to isolate myself.
