Trouble here right at the end?

Hey, all. I'm feeling funny asking for support about such a small thing. But usually I've been pretty automatic about getting my final semester grades figured at the end of the semester at the community college where I teach.
But today I'm having trouble. I'm tired, I'm distracted, and the deadline is to have them all entered into the computer tomorrow by 2pm/
Nothing big is going on, it's not a crisis, and I don't have a huge amount of grading to do. Just need to read final papers and figure semester grades. But I'm having some trouble doing what should be routine this time.
Nonetheless, I have what Buddhists would call "monkey mind" when I need to focus. And a whiny, tired monkey it is, too.
Why is that?

... You don't know how hard it is on this side of the desk with papers due to get my grades. I studied all my notes, reviewed chapters too and thought of you as someone that would have to read them...took a deep breath and jumped in. on those papers... when all I wanted to do was curl up and wait until today, for my daughter.
Really, hugs of support. Muji, I wish my professor in PP was like you.

Little things count, muji.
The more I think on it, the less I think I believe I will ever understand why, and the more I believe "Why?" is the mostest favoritest bit of mischief my own "monkey mind" has found for keeping me from my goals. Right at the Finish Line is where the Why's get the loudest.
Raucous cheers for that last big push of the semester, muji. If push comes to shove, just give everybody an "A." Guarantee of good teacher reviews?
I did wake up this morning way ahead of my alarm clock, so I wouldn't say I wasn't anxious. But I was more well rested. I made myself have a breakfast before going back to grading, too. Then I went at it, and got the job done without a hitch. Actually, no, correction: there was one hitch. Somehow I locked up the touch pad on the computer I was using and spent 30 minutes in frustrated mode. It was one of those work interruptions trying to figure out how I ever did that in the first place, and how to get it working again.
But now it's done, and I did my work this time without an all nighter and all of that drama. It was scary to stop, to vent here online, and then to take your support and do the logical grown up thing and get some rest before trying again. The grown up thing! I must be making progress in dealing with PTSD and anxiety. Thanks again, my DS PTSD friends.
Putting sarcasm back in its cage now. . . Back, back, you vicious beast!
Sounds to me you used the HALT approach. Two of the four were in play. Once you took care of the "Tired" and "Hungry" the rest fell in place. Except for the techno-glitch. . . Progress over perfection?
So, or no, you got the job done. Congratulations. May the rest of the end-of-semester-loose-ends tie up as neatly.
But: job done. Whew!
Hope you're well.
