I have been having alot of triggers lately. Like I could be sitting here and all of a sudden a song will come to me or something was said on the TV. It will set me off. I hate it tonight I don't know how it happend but a song popped in my head that my ex husband would sing to me and I was like what the hell. I haven't been well for a week or so that's why I haven't be in here. The doctor upped my antidepressants to 112mg. I have had an up set stomach but other then that we will see I go back next month to see how its going. My anger has been so bad like flip out screaming loosing my mind. No cutting though so that's good. I'm in my way I can tell but it's still hard at times. Doing my best. Hope you all are doing well. Thank u

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Trigger Warning
I'll be relaxing on the couch after work and dinner watching tv. Then some song or image on a random show will send me to the bathroom to vomit as part of a sudden panic attack.
When I was married and had someone else living in the house with me, it was even harder on me. They found it harder to accept that PTSD could work that fast on a person out of nowhere. So there would be an evening of explaining, which made it worse for me.
It's tough to be divorced, but at least living alone, after I go and vomit, the panic attack has peaked. I can settle myself down without having to do any explaining, because I just know it's PTSD and it will pass.
What I'm sharing is no cure, I'm sorry to say, but you're not alone. I'm glad you're not cutting over this.
So I take a step back and remind myself that what I'm feeling is ptsd. It was triggered badly by recent contact with my parents. Everything seems heightened, sound, light, pain, everything. I keep reminding myself that it will subside and that I see my emdr therapist tomorrow who I hope can help.
We go through periods of more triggers for whatever reason but it does pass. Just hold on.
Women who don't have custody...get condemned.
I think of you from time to time, but don't know what to say. The courts aren't always just, and in some places of the country, mental health issues are used against a person in the courtroom. It's not fair. Just know that I care.
