That makes twice in two days. And I haven't fully calmed down from the one yesterday. I went to see a school play today, many of my friends were in it and it was actually quite good, but there was one scene that was extremely similar to my main trauma.
I wouldn't have gone if I had known about that scene, especially while still being more on edge than usually, but it's too late for that now. And as if that wasn't enough, right after that I was exposed to another one of my stronger triggers (related to a different trauma though). I did manage to keep it together to go home, so that's something.
I keep having minor flashbacks though, and I'm in for at least three days of nightmares. Plus school stress and my father pulling his (also for me extremely triggering) again? Yeah, I doubt that'll be fun.
I need a f*cking break! At least I'll have some holidays soon, so there's a silver lining.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

I get my therapy toolbox and get to work at the first flashback. Keeping my vulnerability on my awareness radar with corresponding exercises helps keep them manageable.
Gentle support while you find what works for you, Neo. Sorry you are going through this.
