Those pesky error messages & login glitches

Hey, everybody


I heard back today from DS staff about those error messages (mine say "504") that come up when we try to post and the trouble others are having logging on.  It may not be any comfort, but DS staff said that they themselves have been having that trouble, too.  They passed our report on to the development engineer to create a software patch.  I'll let you know when they give us a time frame for when they'll have it fixed.

thank you. I try loggin in and it gives me an error, the only way I can log in is when I click on some messages in the group and try and then relogin.

Ha! just another exercise in perseverance! This keyboard has not always been my friend but worth every effort, and repeated effort to connect here.

darkside, thanks for the workaround on logging in. We shouldn't have to do stuff like that, but it's good to know how we can.

Me, I found a post failure work around:

when my post doesn't work and gets an error message, if I go back in to what I wrote and add a space with my space bar, it refreshes it without erasing it and I can hit send again.

And then, yeah, possibly get another error message, then add a space to refresh, hit send and do it again until it gets sent. Sigh.

Looking forward to the fix, for sure.
