Is the bee thread tangled up with the Family Business Thread?
Visualization is the meditation techniques which seems to work best for me. So far. Some days. I also believe that good meditation should be fluid and open to change. Without fluidity, it is ritual. Ritual can also be helpful, but it is not the same as meditation inside my personal skin. Among my favored visualizations is "The Threads of Life." I often gather stringy things like ropes, chords, hair, etcetera to aid in the visualization. This morning the strings are still attached to my head. I think it will be "A Good Hair Day." The Threads of Life meditations are closely linked with the "Life Weaving" visualization. Can you guess which meditation themes surfaced for me this morning?
The Beekeeper Allergy I have been grappling with since the hand mobbing incident in Washington on the Brazos last summer seems to be tangled with the Family Business Thread.
I have been babbling about the Beekeeper Allergy. It is a very recent shock to my system. I don't talk so much about the Family Business Thread. Yes, folks. Kiddie porn is BIG business. Heartrippiingly so. . . Where did I leave my spiffy spandex? Ah. . . Here it is, right under my neon soapbox. . . I have been meaning to upgrade those batteries to solar. . .
Skipping over that body fluid hardened knot. . .
My mother is from a long line of small town German businessfolk. I kinda think they are still fighting the Luther Wars which started in their 15th century German home towns. The diff between Catholic and Lutheran was still hot topic at the first family reunion I attended in 2009, My mother's mother had a bakery in her basement. The family is still there in the same agricultural center my parents were raised in. I did not know her family much as a child. I thought I was full blood Irish until a Junior High School class assignment prompted me to ask. I have met some of them since my father's death in 2005 prompted me to go to the parental hometown to see if my father had any relatives who wanted to know of his passing. A couple of my mother's siblings tried to help, but my father's large Irish Catholic Clan seems to have dissipated like water on a hot rock.
I admit curiosity about my mother's kinfolk are part of my fascination with the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers at the southern tip of Illinois. They live a few hours north of there. Still just part of the fascination. That river confluence is a serious force of nature. . . I find even the memory of it thoroughly hypnotic. It is where the bee barge image first bubbled into my psyche. . .
Still sorting. . . Or am I "detangling" today? ? ?

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
What I do know is, families can feel a bit like being swarmed by angry insects, for me. (I have a recurring nightmare hwere they morph into bees of various types, in fact.)
Gentlest support.
I think spit is the primary body fluid sliming up the Family/Business knot, but. . . Still quite yucky to detangle.
