As some of you know, I was bound by a Court-ordered Gag Order for two years, preventing me from publicly telling my story.
That Gag Order has expired. Here's my story......

OR: http://tinyurl.com/k3movuo
For those of you who are comfortable doing so, I'm going to ask you to consider helping me share my story with as many people as possible -- whether by Facebook, Twitter, or other social media.
Two sayings have been really meaningful to me, lately:
1) You're as sick as your secrets, and
2) [I heard this on "Sons of Anarchy:"] "The only thing worse than everybody knowing is ... nobody knowing."
Not everybody would get what those mean, but ... I'd guess most of you will.
I'm not doing well. Actually, I'm doing really poorly. I'm not sure there are any real fixes for ALL of the things that were taken from me in this story, but ... maybe ... the will to live.
Maybe getting my story told will help light a fire in this tiny ember of my soul that remains.
Wishing you all peace, health, and strength......

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
These people are what's wrong with the world.
Sometimes the phrase, "everything happens for a reason" makes meaning in the word. In your case, I fail to see any silver linings.
As you know, I, too, had to speak to a psych bu my aggressors who gave me the thumbs up. Little consolation when you realize you are the little guy at the mercy of forces larger than yourself.
As long as we continue to know who's right, I suppose we always will have that. But when you are in chronic pain as you, that's little comfort.
I wish some blessing comes in your life to give you some peace...
I am glad to see you are here now and posted this. I hope they get theirs somehow.
As much as I love my dogs, I am clueless how people live with barky dogs.
I can't imagine having to endure what you have endured, and I send you hope for healing.:-)
I know you said you are supposed to get out and hike, do you like taking pictures? The 2 might work well for you?
I am sending you some gentle hugs. ((hugs)) Take care and know we are here for you.
Gentlest hugs.
It's like high school, all over again.
Poor dogs...they picked a high-maintenance breed of dog and then barely spent time with them.
And ... to Deli and CC ... again ... this is why I have a really hard time being objective about your respective cases/lawsuits. I guess that's just a big part of PTSD.
I pray that it never goes wrong for either of you. I hope your paths through these two issues is smoother than mine, NOT met with corruption, and does NOT take your assets or your faith and humanity.
I hope neither of you is met with the classic smear campaign.
Truly.
Haka and Kohi (the neighbors' dogs) were great dogs.
These morons ... who were both competitive cyclists ... made the dogs accompany them ... while the bike racers were ON their bikes ... and the puppies (they were very young) ran along side.
These morons ran their dogs until their pads were bleeding, and they could go no more.
These morons thought canine separation anxiety was "cute."
They'd never owned dogs before. Neither of them.
You're exactly right, Blue/Hylie: they were way over their heads, and the dogs paid for their arrogance -- one of them paid the ultimate price.
Lilly: there's no more case ... no more lawsuits ... no more options. The Gag Order had me silent until the Statute of Limitations ran out on pretty much every potential cause of action. That's pretty much why the District Attorney sought the two year Gag Order ... to run the clock out on my rights.
Besides ... during that two years ... I've been trying to stay alive, and wasn't going to put my faith in the legal system ... again.
Yeah. High school kids. Cliques. Bullies. Horribly insecure people who need to rove in packs, and be predators, to make themselves feel better about themselves.
Like so many of us, I KNOW that's not what most people are like, but ... like many of us ... I've lost confidence in my ability to identify, avoid, or 'handle' the ones who are.
And pretty much all interest in socializing.
For the many of us with 'physical' medical issues ... y'all know ... there's now much you hurt ... how much is actually wrong ... and THEN there's how much you have in you to just suck it up, and endure it.
The former ... has gone way up. The latter ... I'm tapped out.
Thank God for Sammy ... the yellow lab in my photo. He's been my life support unit for quite a while now.
As always ... I wish you all peace, health, and strength.
Glad you can finally speak out!
Muji
(My old man dog eventually went to a specialist for his skin problems ( thanks, Mom!) but because of his footpads, I tried buying him dog shoes. This...well...he kind of reacted like WHAT ARE THESE HORRIBLE THINGS ON MY FEET??? And walked around in a bizarre paddly fashion until he was able to get them off. 40$ not well spent.)
Sammy finally got used to his Muttluks (yep. That's what they're called), but ... initially ... he did that "Dance on Hot Coals" thing, too ... at least indoors.
Now, he's happy wearing them when it's icy outside.
Yeah. When I read that they ran their dogs until their pads ripped off ... I just cried.
You can probably imagine how it felt listening to the agonizing yelps ... hour after hour after hour ... when they suffered from the separation anxiety. It was just heartbreaking ... along with the physical toll it took on me.
But this is why I say that DS-PTSD seems to be full of sensitive people who've been run over by the insensitive sorts of the world.
And ... agreed. I stay away from rumor and gossip. It's poison. If I didn't believe it before ... well ... I surely would have by now.
Tribalism.
I was fascinated with that concept years ago. Ironic how it came back to bite me so viciously.
