Thanks for help here-it worked

This week I had a student in my college grief class begin to act erratically. So I asked for advice from 2 people here. They gave it, I used it, and and it worked out great.
I took my student aside and offered her the college's 3 free counseling sessions, putting it in a good light, not as punishment or "hey--you're crazy." I told her I myself started my own counseling as an extension of taking a psych course in college, and that it had helped me become a hospital chaplain helping people myself.
She broke down and cried with relief. I passed her on to the colleague I referred her to, and went on to teach class. Later in the day my colleague emailed me that my student had had a good chat, had cried some more, and that things looked good for further follow through. My colleague even ended the email with an actual smiley face.
I'm so happy because it was a win-win. I need to draw my boundary between my role and class instructor vs. being drawn into being a student's therapist when I can't perform that extra role. And the student needed to have her anger and demands responded to with compassion and care rather than punishment. I was worried when I reached out here. It was a lot to hope for. But thanks to the advice I got here, it came to pass.
Rejoice.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I call that progress.
Do That Do!
