I'm having a good Friday, no pun intended, SC. No Chronic Kidney Disease neuropathy pain from that bad doc's PTSD meds overdose you know all about. No dizziness nor nearly fainting from it, either, as happened several days a week last month. I felt so good I went to the mall for Chinese food for lunch! :-)

Hope the same goes to as many DSPTD folks here as possible. Blessings, y'all!

we got us a much needed 3 day weekend. start of school has been a SNAFU filled affair and we need the break.

so. . . i got curious about why the U.S. celebrates labor day in september instead of may 1st like the rest of the world. turns out that may 1st, 1919 --back when "labor day" was a new and very communist concept-- triggered an ugly series of labor riots in cleveland ohio. the law to adopt labor day as a national holiday was already in congress, but president wilson got downright uppity about celebrating the may day riots. he insisted the u.s. observance of labor day be moved to september.

Hanging in there. With fall comes a start to a season that has a lot of tough ‘anniversaries’, memories & stuff. The weather change literally just brings all these flashbacks & memories of a lot of stuff.
Last night I stayed up all night because I was too afraid to sleep & then fell asleep a little during the day until my cat woke me up.

Now I’m up again & my mind can’t shut off, have a lot of worries & a little trouble turning it off

Trying to hold on to some hope

    My day...today...misplaced my debit card...didn't realize it until I got to the register after shopping to a full cart.  Used a different debit card and pulled apart everything looking for missing debit card before I left parking lot.  Got home, dropped keys.
