Telling my PTSD story in public tomorrow
mujicaptsd
I'm telling my PTSD story in public tomorrow at a church. This coming out of the closet thing about my abuse and recovery all this year was exhilarating at first, but recovery is a long road in every phase, and I find myself tired. I know tomorrow's talk is the right thing to do, but I'm so tired that I slept 15 hours last night.
Any daily strength out there? I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

What you do is wonderful in sharing your story and reaching so many others with both educating and letting others understand what may have happened in their own lives
At the same time it's important to minister to your own needs Muji... If you need some time to just kick back and rest, please take it M... I would hate to see you get sick because you are ignoring you... You are much too important to all of us... Another hug and a blessing...xo
Since this is so new to you, I'm sure you will find the right way to do it going forward to fulfill your aspirations and also take care of you. You are actively learning how to do this, and I'm sure you will figure it out.
Whatever happens, you know that people like me will always support you.
Not easy, certainly, but -- with any luck -- well received AND therapeutic.
I know you will do great telling your story and educating others about mental health. Thank you for doing this as it will help reduce the stigma of mental health.
God, yes; tiring; yes. Worth it? You bet.
You're a smart cookie- you'll know when to stop before you crumble.
Hugs.
You are wonderful friends, and there are so many of you! I thank you all so much for both the strength and the wisdom, too.
I'm going to go to sleep now fortified and get up and do this. Thank you all.
