I have arachnaphobia and often spiders are the maniphestation of my nightmares. I've taught myself to not be afraid of spiders so the dreams usually end up as stress dreams. I hate spiders.
I haven't been well for some time. Chronic depression and feeling furious often. I'm slightly better the last few days but still having bad dreams. My sleep's crazy as always and I'm up all night.

Now the advance of chronic kidney disease means that nerve damage has crept up to my knee caps. Instead of taking the form of numbness right away, this time the dying nerves are sending out false signals. At first I went out and bought cans of Raid and sprayed my legs and changed my clothes to get rid of them, but the spiders aren't real. Still, I feel like I have spiders crawling on my knees all the time at work, in the car, wherever. It drives me nuts at night when I'm trying to go to sleep. I went to my doctor to get a pill for it, but so far the new pill's not working.
Yeah, don't like spiders either, and am not happy feel like phantom spiders are crawling on my legs. I wake up in the night slapping my knees and scratching my legs at spiders that aren't there. Much support to you.
