woah nellie - that's a lot of link ^^
he started writing in 1938 - well, being published anyway. i am wanting to give myself that ...treat, that extravagance of reading his books and actually maybe remembering more of them. when i read them before, i was so escaping.
now? OH!!!! just figured out something and it is a bigs omething :O)
not neurological or psychological about not reading : ) i have become much more comfortable reading using my computer screen.
not a kindle, not a book, but a computer screen.
used books come w/potential allergens. i can't go into used bookstores anymore :( i used to love to do that. so, ok, i have accepted that and no more sadness - just the way it is now.
but isn't it great enws? i have evolved and it is not an illness or a problem, only a different way of doing my pleasant past time : ) this realisation made me quite happy today.
I lost my Kindle on my last trip to Mexico, so I've gotten an Amazon Fire for reading and am getting used to how to use it. You can take photos and answer email on a Fire as well as read. It's mystifying to me, 'cause it was rather cheap--cheaper than another Kindle. It made me happy today reading at lunchtime at school like you were happy today, too, Lil.

(If this is too political, I'll delete it, but I listen to this from time to time, because it really does give me hope.)
