I have been sleeping allot since I worked myself to heat exhaustion several weeks ago. I must be getting over it since today's siesta has lead to my current midnight postings. My norm in recent years has been to sound asleep by now. Dreams are increasingly bizarre as well.
Sigh. I rank sleep as the ultimate pass-time. When my youngest son was little, he called sleep his time machine. "I go to sleep in today and wake up in tomorrow."
No point here. Just insomniac rambling...

My dreams can be extremely vivid. They were terrible for a long time but recently I've been doing better except some bad days.
However, within that, I am extremely tuned to the circadian rhythms. Put me in a windowless room and I will still respond to sunrise and sunset. If I have been partaking of the "bewitching hours" (midnight to 4am, give or take), I will be able to go back to sleep after sunrise wakes me, but still, I feel the call. Ditto for sunset. I may or may not give in to the sleepy urges, but still I feel them.
I had a super productive morning and am currently feeling the siesta call. To snooze or not to snooze...
No, DoooO, he did not learn that from me, though the stories I read him certainly didn't sterilize his creativity. That one was his, to the best of my knowledge. He was the only child I have ever met that asked to be tucked in before anyone suggested bedtime. I do not remember EVER telling him to go to bed. He liked his time machine.
