Something I'm not good at. At all. When I have a bad day, I usually throw myself into anything that'll keep me busy and often forgo sleeping and eating. The worse I feel, the more I push myself. Bad habit, self-destructive, unhealthy etc.
I don't have any idea what to do for self-care since I've always done the exact opposite.
What do you do for self-care?

It's a tough cycle to break. I have to keep it on my daily inventory because I still slide back into self-neglect/abuse all too easily. In my latest round I have been trying the "Reframing Tool" and calling it "benign self-indulgence" instead of "self-care."
For me as a person I realize my body "resets" when I sleep, so I focus those days on literally just making it through them without doing anything that might harm the day ahead of me.
I also have an app or two on my phone I enjoy using/play with, so that doesn't hurt.
My normal life stresses like washing laundry, homework, social obligations? I move them to the next day.
Sometimes, I think, self care is just getting yourself through the day. You don't have to solve anything; it's as simple as just letting yourself exist.
I'm sending you hugs and warm thoughts today as you sort through all of this.
Then try and keep the relax-ful day going with watching movies. Just simple things.
