In strictly personal truth, my feet never stop itching. The older I get, the more convinced I seem to grow that the open road is my home. Feel free to psycho-analyze it in whatever fashion makes my life work in your head.
I.F. the ifs come into alignment, I will be returning to the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers soon for another scouting expedition. (Background: http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Post-Traumatic_Stress_Disorder/forum/20679997-thank-you ) This time I will(?) have two travelling companions: Persilly (my avi) and eldest son's Significant Other.
How scary is the idea of travelling with a mentally imbalanced family member's "S.O?" Did I learn nothing from The MIL/DIL blowout after youngest son's wife and son did our Chicago trip? Alert the Toxic People Landfill crews!!!!
Still. . . It is the proposal on the table. It even feels right? I can fantasize this S.O. as the First Mate on my Bee Barge. http://www.dailystrength.org/people/1307439/photos-videos/1
Processing. . . Thanks for the sort space.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

But the eldest son's S.O. and I think this could be a good thing. Maybe. Neither of us is claiming certainty. At least we aren't tackling the traditional MIL/DIL protocols. Here in that same early 21st century, those dynamics could be abbreviated as, "How to over-fill a Toxic People Landfill in minimum time." Or maybe that would be "The divorce lawyer support plan."
One of the things the eldest son's S.O. and I have in common is that we are both emotional orphans. We each have living blood family that we wouldn't dream of calling for a personal need more complex than letting us pay for dinner. Creative living is an unchosen necessity for both of us.
