Well, CC. Ya tripped a wire in my cranium. I have been flashing to ??? quite a few cars in my therapy train. Methinks this one goes back to the pedophilic hippie who introduced me to Transcendental Meditation in the late 60's. It is okay to call him a pedophilic hippie. He introduced me to that word, too. It is what he was and he kept the cards on the table, appropriately named. I was young enough to fit his preferences. In my heart, I want to count him in my therapy train rather than my abuser train. Yes, he exercised his pedophilia upon me, but. . . During the process he introduced me to many, many calming exercises which I use to this day. Don't accuse me of experting, but. . . Am I seeing the same tools he taught me in the current CBT theories???

Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

Arfie, just make sure you're not a caboose going on a circular track, and you'll be okay:-)
I am also okay being the caboose on a circular track. Let's put it on the Polar Express, if the track is available. A piece of straight track will do, too.
A black and white movie character who has haunted my dreams since the one time I saw her on the late, late show as a child is, "Mail Train Annie." I haven't been able to find her movie since, but, girl howdy, I had fun being her. In the movie, her job was to drive her mail train from the end of the Union Pacific rail line (still under construction) to the home office in NY. I knew what I was going to be when I grew up!!!!
