Well last night was my daughter's band performance and she was awesome!!! I got through it but it was hell. No joke there was over 100 people in a very small auditorium we had to stand and there was wall to wall people. If that was not bad enough a neighbor went to the hospital and I stayed up all night making sure his kids were o.k. in there room. I did not here from him until this morning, he had slept at the hospital but did not want to call and disturb me, even though I told him I would not sleep until he was back or heard otherwise. I past out around 4 a.m. and woke up at 6 a.m. to walk my daughter to bus stop. Now because of the panic and emotions from yesterday I can barely function. Does anyone else feel hungover for days after stress, even if they do not drink?

I vote you go get a good night's sleep. Nice guys need sleep, too.
As for helping the neighbor who went to the hospital, again, that kind of emergency would drain anyone, too, PTSD or no. Anybody would be hung over for days from being that sleep deprived. I know, I used to pull 36 hour shifts at the hospital during my hospital residency.
You did good. Now get some sleep and restore yourself. Congrats!
