My anorexia was from not knowing when my next meal would be as a kid, but I am pretty sure the effects on physiology are the same. Yes, they are dangerous bedfellows. One feeds the other. So to speak.

When I start getting sketchy, my hunger factor is the first thing I inventory. Neglect factors taught me how to turn off my hunger alarms at a very early age. In my skin, the connection between steady blood sugars and mental stability are indisputable.
Since I started taking glycine after a test showed extremely low levels, my whole mental/emotional state seems to have balanced out some. I know I can get so caught in avoidance, that I can hardly bring myself to eat - and when I'm in that state, eating the right foods is nearly impossible - I get to where I have to eat, and I eat something unhealthy.
