I had a tough day. I went to my kidney doc and found out I have more than the kidney infection. Internal bleeding from a cyst on a kidney that's made me iron deficient and blah blah. I have an MRI next week and an oscopy soon after. This Sunday more tests.
Argh. I wanted to stay in peachy denial. :-) My PTSD gets triggered from the handling of doctors.
Feeling my sense of mortality, too. Flashing back to regrets I can't change now. Like wishing I hadn't taken so many PTSD meds that were tough on my kidneys in the first place. Stuff like that.
Got to get back in One Day At A Time mode, don't I? Support welcome.

I know t is hard. I am struggling with a biopsy result that I get next week. The post few days I have had unusual pain and in the area of the biopsy and I keep thinking it is cancer. My emotional mind is connecting the pain to cancer. I have to keep reminding myself it is not true. I do not have the results and until I have the results I am guessing and worrying for nothings. Even if I do have cancer worrying is not going to help me. I have to face the fear of the unknown and move beyond it to solutions.
Sending you hugs, my friend. My heart is with you/
Crazy Canuck, my fingers and toes are crossed for your biopsy results. Thanks for your solidarity as you yourself go through this similar thing in your own life. Much support back to you, too!
Remember that you get to say "yes" or "no" to anything and that Western medicine isn't your only alternative. There are other treatments that may not be as invasive.
