I wrecked into a fence on a four wheeler about 3 years ago at night. I broke 6 ribs, had a large liver laceration, severed my pancreas in half and lost my spleen. I've had numerous surgeries from it and am now a type 1 diabetic. My scar stretching from the top to the bottom of my abdominal area. With a large scar on my left side from a pancreatic drain and on the right side a smaller scar from my drain tube from my liver. My life has changed dramatically I don't do the things I use to, with the fear of dying or getting hurt again. Not sure if my body could take much more. It's been an emotional roller coaster with the fact that I'm a diabetic now all from a result of this Accident.

Welcome. So sorry for the reasons that brought you here, but welcome.
I've never had an accident anything like that, but I've had a couple and they've always left me shaken, so, on a small scale, I understand.
Heartfelt Hugs, Patti
That is quite allot to recover from. Yay you for working to process ^it^ all before it has the time fester into all the psychic weirds that unprocessed emotion can fester in to. Fear might be natural after an event, but natural is not always okay.
Gentle support as you continue your healing journey, Uniq. My your healing lead you to satisfying new places.
