Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Support Group
Find support with others who have gone through a traumatic experience. Whether you have chronic or acute PTSD, we are here for you.

The GKs are in protective custody with the other GPs once more. It was the mother who was taken away by police this time. This is not the first time police, etc., have been called in to mediate their romantic disuputes. Details are still sketchy, but I am currently trying to detach from the romantic drama and calm myself for the 3 hour drive south to pick up the GKs. GS (5) has a four day weekend from school this weekend, so we had been hoping to let them spend the weekend at the farm, anyway. Just hoping, since the parental drama didn't allow for planning. For now, at least, we can make believe it was a planned event while we let the parental units sort their own yaddahs.
Support and prayers needed.

Welcome to the Perseid meteor showers, the "biggies" usually every year. (The Leonids beat 'em one year IMHO).AND today much of the northern hemisphere will see 5 to 99% solar eclipse. How cool is that? Your best bet is to be in the UK or norhtern Spain, where totality is excellent before sundown. Me, I'll get a super duper tiny itty bitty slice of it, so little that it won't be noticeable. New...

Sending support, prayers & love
Gentlest of hugs <3
And total support.
Tomorrow I make another longish drive to the other end of the metropolis where the GKs and the other grandparents live. Life willing, we will be back on the farm tomorrow afternoon.
Prayers in progress.
The cell phone rang as I was passing through the nearest town to the farm. It was a new caseworker in the Child Protective Services, insisting they needed to see the children today. He had no info on where the parental units were in their legal shuffle, but he needed to confirm the children were safe and okay.
Thankfully, I didn't need to turn around and repeat the 3 hour drive. He is currently contacting an associate in this area to visit the farm and check on them.
I had breakfast with Daddy this morning. He was in a sorrowful state. I left him at a bus stop to head toward downtown to try to discern where Mama is in the judicial system this morning.
The GKs don't seem to be overly aware of any of this. Just another farm visit. They surely do love it up here.
Well, just it all. . . Why can't life be that simple for all of us?
Peace to you and yours
Later in the evening, Hubs went off in another round of offense over an improperly worded question I asked about work hours. I didn't know he was offended until he went off on GD. As usual, he heard much more in the question than I knew I was asking. Thankfully, we were able to implement some of our new dance steps the children were fully terrified of both of us. Do the young children --or even other adults-- really understand any of what goes on in a romantic dispute? Personally, I'd rather sit in the epicenter of a dog fight, even when one of the romance partners.
Beaten crazy bitch wolf, coming through. . .
Put your romantic expectations where the sun don't shine.
The chump dumping puppet show is REALLY loud on my head this morning.
Prayers ongoing. . . I've been wearing my grounding talisman as a reminder to be gentle and patient with the process and everybody involved.
Sincere appreciation for the extra emotional support here.
