The middle bedroom is painted. The fuzzy duckling (trim) is resting comfortably on the september morning (walls). Eldest Son even showed to take his precious thing pile to his own living space. Hubs wants the project of deciding what to do with all that empty space. I'm good with that. The detailing - light switch covers, etc., remains to be done. He thinks the detailing will be a good start to deciding what to do with all that empty space while the household clutter rattles ominously to impose its own space needs. Nature abhors a vacuum. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/93/f2/9f/93f29fb95cd4b9b15dbc8de878443b2e.jpg
The paint urge is still on me. Using leftover paint for the hallway which connects the three bedrooms and the community bathroom to the living room. It isn't a very big hallway. More trim than wall. . . Universal Umber (trim) on Cream in my Coffee (walls).
Wax on wax off
Keep the rhythm
Wax on wax off
Keep the strokes light
Wax on wax off
Don't be distracted
Just do what is in front of you
Just an update. . .

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I have an attic of stuff rattling to be free... I refuse to listen.
Gentle support, and it's not OT to let us know how the duckling is doing on his morning.... Glad the son came to fetch his Thing Pile. I may need 1800GotJunk to collect one from us...
Hall way done. Time for cleanup and detailing.
Been having flashbacks to an old fellow, I worked with for a few weeks. He was, easily, past SSI retirement age. We were doing restoration work in a local housing project. My hammer swing was his obsession. While we worked, he set the rhythm with a melodic lecture tune.
You don't have to make it more work than it is
Just let the hammer fall
Let gravity do the work while you guide loosely
Just let the hammer fall
Guide it with a gentle hand and it will hit every time
Just let the hammer fall
Just a few lines of the tune which I am not at all sure I am remembering correctly. The fellow sure knew how to give a lecture. Broke my heart when he disappeared on me. More lectures, please! I think I need help with my putty knife.
