OT - New Toys

I splurged on an essential oil distillation kit. http://www.sciencecompany.com/Free-Ground-Shipping-2L-Steam-Distillation-Apparatus-P16939.aspx My first ever. Ran the first batch of rosemary through it this today. The whole house smells like rosemary. My sinuses are cleaner than they have been in a while. I am currently waiting for the first batch of hydrosol and essential oil to cool so that I can separate them, or at least try to.

Anybody have any new toys and/or projects they want to brag about?

wow arfie! that is very cool. No new toys yet but I will be buying supplies to make my own pottery wheel very soon. It is very inexpensive but it will give me a lot of creative time and hands on therapy!

OMG, that just went on my wish list! THat sounds so awesome! I love the smell of rosemary, especially. PUrrrrrific.

I have a wish list for engraving/carving tools that work on wood and/or stone, a geologist's field kit, and a good industrial type quality dehydrator for herbs and veg and fruit. Beats heck outta freezing, IMO.

But those toys are not yet delivered by good old Santa, so I guess I can cherish the fun I have in my daydreams:-)

Nope, not yet. Same won't let me peak in the bag under the tree. Grandma said I have to wait until morning so I'm going to bed really early so I can get up really early!! I wanna know what's in the bag! It's from Jared lol

I'm with Jewells that just looks cool. I got some things for some of the crafts I do. Tomorrow will reveal the rest. I'm just now starting to take pictures of my work. To bad in some ways cause id have a huge portfolio if I had done this years ago. I have a huge wish list for my crafts but I'll keep plugging away at getting them.

DoooO, Can I give you an order list for your pottery wheel? I miss having potters in my life. The Renaissance Festival network is chock full of them. Somehow they all disappeared on me after I got high on watching Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze use Demi's pottery wheel in "Ghost."

Cleaver Weed ( http://www.eattheweeds.com/galium-aparine-goosegrass-on-the-loose-2/ ) sprouts this month here in Central Texas. Guess what's going in the biomass flask next. To think. . . Local weed warriors are spending good money on trying to kill it.
