I didn't get to sleep until 3am, having gotten in at 2. It took

a bit to settle down. But I slept for 12 whole hours. Didn't

wake up until 3PM .

Thanks for that Jimmy Buffet link, Patti! Speaking of all

things "Margaritaville," the hotel I'm staying at again (that I

always stay at) is literally named the Hotel Margarita. And it

lives up to it name. HA!!!

I'm now having tacos at my favorite restaurant across the

street from my hotel. The waiters remembered me from my

trip here in January. It's great to be remembered and

welcomed like that. Kind of like how it is so nice to have the

same here.

I walked, on my cane of course, to the supermarket and to the bank today. My physical therapist would be proud of me. I had a sub for lunch downtown. Like I do every chance I get, I ask local folks about the feasability of moving here when I retire in two years.

I asked the waiter where I got the sub sandwich. He said I was budgeting too much for rent here, that I could afford an apartment here for lots less than what I had in mind.

Aw, was that ever soothing for me to hear. I only have two days more here on vacation before I have to go back to work in the States again. But that gave me some encouragement again about what I'm working toward in two years.

Your physical therapist would be proud of you - I hope YOU are proud of yourself :-)

You sure deserve it. And every encouragement you get.
