Newest Community Leader - mujicaptsd
Hi Folks!
You may or may not know me, but I work here at DS. I'm very pleased to announce that mujicaptsd has agreed to become a Community Leader for the PTSD support group. We're certain that he'll make a wonderful Community Leader!
In case you don't know him, you can view his profile by clicking here:

Mujicaptsd will be helping members obtain and receive positive support, greeting new members, finding emerging trends, offering advice to members who post discussion topics, and also helping us locate clear cases of abuse and spam (which is quite rare for this group).
So let's give mujicaptsd a big hug and high-five, and congratulate him for taking on this role!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! :)

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

Thank you for taking on this important role, in spite of the "high wages."
I could have sworn I did not see your ties to ds community and ds community Members. True, I did reply to your topic posted....but? thank-you in advance for answering my query.
I didn't know if I could handle PTSd without meds, then. Participating in Daily Strength PTSD, though, did take the place of my daily meds. The fact that it worked that way for 5 years proves how powerfully healing this group is. In the interim, because of coming here every day instead of taking meds every day, my kidney disease itself stabilized this Spring.
As of 3 months ago, therefore, for the first time in 5 years I was allowed to start taking PTSD medication again. Just one med, and for night time sleep, but what a difference it makes. It's awesome your support got me to heal to this point that I can qualify for PTSD medication treatment for good night rest once again.
Then, boom, lo and behold, at almost the same time, being here at DS PTSD because I needed it also evolved further into this opportunity to serve as CL. Wow. When it rains, it pours, huh? It was SunCloud's idea. I'm especially grateful to her for her example and honored that she would ask me to follow in her footsteps. This rookie CL has a lot to learn from her.
Me, I'll always still be a member with PTSD in need of receiving as much as giving our kind of peer support. Now, though, I get to pay back as a peer and also pay forward as a new CL the support I got here for the last 4 years.
Thanks for that.
You are the best. ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) to you all, each and every one.
