Hi,
I am new here. Was not going to join but tonight I decided to because need the support. I have PSTD for years now. I have a lot of health issues becuase of PSTD. Things are crazy in my life but I do my best. Even though I have PSTD for years I dont understand it. I just started to read up on it becuase my life feels like it is worst (turning up side down). I feel like I am going backward. I find changes very hard and does not fit in at all anywhere but only at my church. I wish was life for me.

I know my own PTSD is not a safe neighborhood to travel alone. There are way too many phantoms, deceptions and confusions attached to trust to only one set of senses. I take traveling companions whenever possible.
One of my VA therapists compared PTSD to a bone which had been shattered and then left to heal badly. Treatment requires re-breaking the bone. setting it properly and tending it with all the necessary care and rehab. Yes, it is a painful and tedious process, but the joy of walking without prosthetics is beyond measure. For me, it was worth the price.
Gentle support while you find your own way through, Rose, be it here or elsewhere. every case is unique. Trust the healing mysteries to guide you.
When any of the three start up, I step up my therapy work.
Yes, I have many health issues from my PTSD traumas. I have a rotator out of place in my neck that physical therapists can't get back in to place from being beat up, I also have chronic migraine & nerve damage in my head from having my head smashed into a curb. Back issues. I have bursitis in my shoulder, chronic tendonitis in my forearm & athritis in my wrists from being broke so many times. nerve damage in different parts of my body. I also have severe TMG from grinding my teeth so bad & fibromyalgia that I also both attribute to my PTSD. (Wow, lol didn't really realize how much of a mess I sound like till I start writing all them down together). Know that you're not alone.
It's a big step yo reach out for support.
I'm sorry all you go through, it really can be a lot.
Much support to you on your journey
Don't rush the process, Rose. You have already tackled quite allot, just in this one little post. Chew well before moving on to the next step. Small steps make the surest journey.
