I am having a difficult time right now. I am adjusting to an increase in meds. My husband has gone through a rapid personality change, confusion, short term memory loss and dragging his left leg. At first I thought he had had a stroke, but his neurologist is not convinced it's a stroke. Per a previous MRI she said there is something there, but not sure yet. He has another MRI tomorrow and a spinal tap coming up. My husband who was often angry, telling me how I should do everything and often yelling at me has changed to someone asking me how to do things, not understanding how things work or can't figure things out on his own, does not know from day to day what day it is, if he has showered.................... I am not sure how he is even working, but he is doing his spreadsheets and tells me what he is looking for at sites. I am really scared for him. I don't miss the anger, but don't want him to be unwell.
My PTSD is working overtime. I keep fearing for the worst and how do I take care of him and my sister when I am barely functioning myself? I can't sleep much, I'm trying to keep up on chores but sometimes I am so tired and have concentration and focus problems so I have to plan things out. I am really stressed right now. Your support is welcome.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

When I am feeling whelmed by the circumstances of life, I often remind myself that rest is a productive activity. The dishes can wait.
Gentle support while you find what works for you. Vent freely. Vent often. Keep us posted.
Huge hug of comfort and peace.... Prayers sent....xo
