Cried and had a panic attack after confronting my brother about his social media post today. His face is so oddly wooden in its expression at times. He really was my favorite person in the world as a kid; he's become so out of it. He says gang stalking is real and since "there have been law suits against the government" that there's nothing wrong with him.
He's going to live with my parents. Mom is treating this like he has the flu or something. She thinks it's okay to be paranoid of coworkers; like everyone on the job is an enemy. I told my other brother; he's been talking to my brother all night.
I don't want to make him get a psych evaluation; I wish I could get him to agree to it. He won't even get a check up. He says there's ringing in his ears and a metallic taste in his mouth.
This seems so hopeless.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
It also sounds like there are some mental health issues in your family and if I haven't suggested it before, I wonder if you've ever been tested for the MTHFR gene mutation. It makes it difficult to absorb the folate you need - which is critical for mental health. People without enough folate can also suffer miscarriages, IBS, Alzheimer's and other issues.
If you have it, it's likely others in your family have it too and they could be helped enormously. The treatment is a special sort of methyl folate that's really inexpensive.
I've been on it for about 2 years and I haven't had anxiety attacks since I started, my IBS cleared up and I've cut my risk of heart attack significantly. Might be something to research.
It is hard to keep my touch gentle when I desperately want somebody to be okay. My reflex is to push and push and push some more until I have fixed the person to okay and back.
For me, the hardest part of loving somebody is leaving them enough room to walk their own path. JUST waiting patiently until the time is right for them is the greatest sacrifice I can make for them. It'd be so much funner to shake them and scream, "If you had the sense God gave a bag of jello, you would know I have all the answers and just ask me."
But that is me. . .
Continued support while you sort your own, ds.
Check out the MTHFR gene, if you wish, as Reed suggested. And diet in general is a good thing to check. An old friend wtih celiac disease literally "went insane" because he wasn't dx'd with celiac in time to stop the damage done to his brain by malnutrtion due to the disease screwing up his ability to absorb enough nutrients. While he recovered to some degree on proper therapy, after dx for celiac? Yeah.
For what it's also worth? Whatever runs in the family or doesn't? That facial expression you describe might be worth photographing in contrast to his "normal", and sending wtiha letter to his health care provider. HIPAA lets you contact them, youjust won't hear anything back from them, without the patient's written consent etc. I did this with my mom. Contacted her doctor etc., to describe what she might not be telling them, and asking them to consider screenign her for XYZ. They did take theletter seriously.
Sorry for typos, bloody computer's acting up.
Gentle support, and blessings. Sometimest he only help we can give is to ourselves, alas.
