getting along with her better...she still says awful things sometimes. My aunt passed away and she said " well we weren't close anyway. She wasn't there for your dad emotionally"
she still exhibits childish behaviors; forever stunted by childhood sexual abuse at 5 by my uncle. She always bites her nails down past the nail bed. We went to the bookstore because she bought a comforter for my daughter. I was going to give her a bite of dessert but she grabbed the cannoli with her hands and twisted off her portion. I felt a sense of all the childhood violations she did to me coming back. Going through my dressers while I was at school and throwing things I'd been saving away. While the whole house is a rotting hoarded mess, but she finds time to throw away my belongings.
She told me I'm supposed to take care of my hoarder brother when she passes. I'm screaming no on the inside. I'm never free. It will never end.

Since I can't seem to find the Perfect People supply and continue to crave love in my life. . . Where is my "Art of Loving Imperfect People for Dummies" book?
Gentle empathy, dsf. I have no emotional bond with my mother, but I still get seriously irritated with the less pleasant quirks of everybody life HAS given me to love. Sometimes venting helps me love them in spite of my own perfection. Other times I just run away and isolate.
