I am attempting to put something into words. Hope no one will be offended if I experiment with wording here.
When my PTSD was out of control, I suffered hideous spastic colitis. So much so that the VA awarded me a disability pension for it upon leaving the Army. Somewhere in the mid 80s I began visualizing massages of my colon. What I am currently calling, "Mental Massage." It worked. I still have a very fussy colon, but my mental massage keeps it from mounting to the crippling pain.
I noticed quite a few years ago that my thought loops were always accompanied by painful pressure centers inside my skull. I do not know which is cause and which is effect. About a year ago I began responding to my thought loops by wordlessly visualizing the pressure centers and applying the mental massage technique. Again, it seems to be working. My thought loops still happen, but have eased greatly.
Am I making sense?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
I know there are pressure points all over the human body. I DON"t - know where pleasure spots? in our feet; our toes; jaw ; hands... etc. only way to describe it for me is like if your body is immobilized and a fly lands on your nose and its itching your nose but you cant at all reach it; eventually our brain we can teach/learn how to massage it.
.... Damn. also thought I was over the flu.(hmm well I was wrong.) I have had colonoscopies a bunch over the last ten years. One year ago February; Landed me in a hospital bed suffering o pancreatitis.
I do not take much pain meds anymore. Actually, I should've refilled bottle couple of weeks ago! Still have full bottle left. Get sleepy so I won't risk it during the daytime. I go to sleep in one second normaly so I try to avoid pain pills if I can. They do mess up stomach. Yep.
Rock it out!
As I mentally massage, I visualize the unhealthy colors (description still unavailable) venting out into the cosmos and the healthy colors reasserting themselves as the pain dissipates.
They're back the next day, but I know what to do. It's not as scary as when I kept them all pent up inside me bottled up in fear. A mental massage is relaxing.
WB , is right, this has been around a while. . It can also help in the colors you wear as healing. I found in class last fall what my uncle was teaching me and other followed up, has a label of quantum touch. Which was for me rolling the energy in a ball, like an invisible tennis ball down to ping pong ball size, feeling the energy build up and then applying to pain areas. it's learn-able but It's something often done with natural abilities also.
I have been using on my left hand.
this stuff is a great way to heal yourself.
i started working with crystals years ago. then i had the opportunity to learn Reiki. from there picked up on touch healing and pain release. currently i combine all of those while i am developing my personal method in what i call Harmonic Resonance. some people use colors other shapes. We hear songs. we can pick up when the vibrations are off tune and gently slide then back.
now that's just what we do but OH YEAH the ability to visualize and see how the thoughts and feeling are connected to those places of physical pain, is a REALLY GREAT healing tool. we've used ton's of different styles over the years to help us through. at one point we felt like there were ropes all tying us up so we sat and untied them one knot at a time. it was amazing!
ok now am I(s) making any sense???? lol
wanted to mention a few other things we use but might be subject sensitive... don't want to trigger any one.... its in the realm of the intuitives
Wikipedia listed Edgar Cayce as a medical intuitive. I also found several medical intuitives right here in my homegrown.
Not sure what would be triggering about sharing your insights, gypsy.
