I haven’t posted for awhile but here goes. My mom (who is emotionally abusive) called two fridays ago to tell me that my grandpa (whom I have fond memories of) was passing. I lost my shit and ruined my relationship with my boyfriend. Next morning I said my goodbyes to my grandpa on the phone. Then I had my Christmas party for work. Where my ex boyfriend was. My best friend took me to take care of me but I really shouldn’t have gone. To make matters worse I’ve brought my emotionally abusive ex in the picture. I’m literally losing my mind. Wtf is going on?

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

You are not alone.
so very sorry for your loss - the most gentle of hugs xo
i hope you can surround yourself with as much positive comforting support as possible.
it makes sense that falling back is instinctive and instinctive is what happens when your legs get pulled out from under you. especially when your heart gets broken at the same time.
all while you had agreed w/yourself to become vulnerable and attempt to help yourself get more well - so, you are extra fragile and vulnerable when this happened, ((((Mj))))
someone told me one time that a knock on the door is an invitation, and invitations don't require a response. especially the kind that happen at the door.
you may give yourself permission to have an appointment w/yourself at that moment in time. be unavailable maybe?
give yourself kindness and space in which to grieve. all said wrapped in hugs and zero judgement - i have no idea what i would do or how i might handle any of this.
it is good you came here- thank you for doing that. thank you for giving me the chance to try to share comfort like i was comforted when i needed it xo
Gentlest of hugs
Music helps me so much. I listen to a lot of self empowering stuff. i think, like subliminal suggestion, seeping into my brain if I listen to enough of it.
for combating the ex situation. I highly recommend listening to Dua Lipa, especially her NEW RULES.
wrapping you hugs, hang in there.
