Idk why my fight or flight response kicked in so bad. It literally felt like PTSD 2.0. I haven't felt that type intensity in a long time.
I'm feeling a lot better. My nervous system is quiet.
I almost want to say what I went through had nothing to do with the car but possibly side effects of EMDR. But I'm not sure. Because there was some stress from the car.

in my personal herstory, the buyer's remorse from a big ticket item such as buying a car is more than enough to trigger the hypervigilance which carries the fight or flight response. i needed extra therapy sessions to get through the first time i bought a car fancy enough to need a car loan. the buyer's remorse no longer cripples me, but i still carry my therapy toolbox to the closing table.
