I'm not on medication and I’m not going to be. But this is hard work. There’s no time to rest or cry. I have trouble remembering to drink enough water and I think it’s causing some problems. I’ve had very sudden fleeting pain come and go for months, sometimes while I’m carrying my little one. It’s usually once or twice a day. Yesterday it started about 2 and it’s stikl off and on. I can be sitting, standing, laying. My clothes aren’t tight. I haven’t had much time to exercise lately. I usually just run but it’s been 98 degrees and humid.....this I’m feeling enormous and uncomfortable but also just not feeling well. And I’ve been sleeping terribly. Why is it so hard to keep up with self care??

I, too, find it surprisingly difficult to keep up with self-care. It's a complex equation which changes continually and the only thing harder than finding a balance is keeping a balance.
Gentle support while you find your own balance, Marah.
With the heat interrupting your running routine and sleeping problems it's even harder. Gentle hugs and support.
There was a time when I was forgetting basic self care even hygiene because of my conditions and schedules. My therapist suggested I get a magnetic eraseable white board and put it on the fridge so I could list the things I needed but kept forgetting. Several times a day I would glance at it walking by or through the kitchen and it helped me start remembering to do more. Eventually I got back on track, but I still have the white board cause we’ll you never know when life will cause you to need a reminder again lol triple hugs
