I ran a Mindfulness group for NAMI for 6 years

National Alliance of Mental Illness. It is the free Red Cross for mental illness.
after healing, I had gained valuable skills meditating.
for a 5 year period I meditated everyday for 5 hours.
i went to a Zen center for five years to perfect my skill
i had run a mindfulness/ PTSD blog for a while and thought why not try real, people.
sent out a few emails with my qualifications and all those times dreaming of being well, being able to have a normal life,
i was given a space and a time frame to make my abstract desires while healing come true in front of a group
for me to lead a group after living for five years as a hermit, agoraphobic and anxious around people is a miracle
wome of the things I do now , I thought impossible a few years earlier.
i just got up everyday and went right at integrating my childhood abuse.
so healed, I had so much extra time that I would worry and get lost in the storyline and get lost considering what ifs that helping others and filling in the voids I faced became a passion
if you want to learn to meditate I can help you. Even designed a small model to help you focus
we can improve. Believe that
took me me a long time to heal because I did not have someone like me to highlight the path and give directions
i can share skills
you will heal, yourself or you will suffer

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

But I don't have something I turn to in advance to heal myself.... TY
It just takes some practice and direction
I will post some help
I believe positive actions like Tai Chi, aerobic exercise
Or meditation are an integral part of healing
Taking action moves us out of victimhood into taking responsibility
The ability to build focus was key to me healing from childhood abuse
Meditation allowed me to observe e my trauma from a distance
I salute you for being a mentor
Teaching others skills to improve heightened my skills and helped me improve more
Giving is a boomerang
I know what you mean about how giving is a boomerang. I went on to grad school and then post-grad school clinicals and a residence as a hospital chaplain. I saw 20 patients a day at a large big city medical center's brain surgery unit. As advanced as my training got, though, the simple meditation training from 1995 was the foundation of my work. Between doors 20 times a day I did my lovingkindness meditation to prepare me for seeing the next patient. So glad you're here to teach us more.
I believe meditation gives us more influence over our life than any other action
It has to do with our mind, the fact that 60,000 thoughts cross our consciousness daily, one every waking second
How we focus our mind determine our mental health our wellbeing
As I said before this board use to have far more traffic but far more dysfunction and bad behavior
You have to keep perspective and watch sharing symptoms with others
We lose when we dissociate, handle our trauma
