I just got some really bad news
neocortex27
I've written yesterday about feeling completely exhausted, mainly because I'm worrying about a lot of people.
Well, seems like life just can't give me a bloody break!
I just heard that my favorite teacher suffered a heart attack today. He's in IC at the hospital, that's all I know.
He is one of the few people who know about my PTSD since he knows someone else who has it and recognised the symptoms in me after I had a bad flashback in his class. Since then he always tried to look out for me, asked me how I was doing, kept people away when he noticed me dissociating or having a flashback and so on. He even raised a little hell when a friend of mine told him about another teacher bullying me. Everyone I know loves him and his classes.
It's just so unfair that this always seems to happen to the few really good people out there!!! I keep telling myself that he'll be alright but my stupid brain won't shut up about someone else I cared about dying of a heart attack which made my whole life a mess once again (surely there must be a limit to the number of times that happens).
So, yeah, just trying not to freak out here.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

...freaking out does nobody any good.
Physical exercise does you good.
I find a slow walk in a quiet place helps me at such times.
Also, worry about yourself, too, okay?
Gentle hugs,
