I have managed to completely run out of money
no gas
the storage will be auctioned soon if I don't pay
homeless
got food stamps of $200 a month so I am not starving
Trying to find work - but I have no focus and can't keep my mind on anything more than a few seconds.
Tried to read a project management book and don't remember anything and have to reread it over an over.
I am trying a work from home calling job. Their system sucks as they have me connect through skype and most of the calls I can't hear or it has a funky computer sound to it.
Just wanted to vent and whine. I have no one that wants to hear my troubles. My mom says that everyone has problems. Others tell me to just get over it (big trigger for me) someone recently told me that shit happens. Thanks that's a big fucking help. I think I was actually shit on as a child.
Even on this site I have had some negative response (It could be me just seeing it that way too)
This sucks
I am not getting better that's for sure.
the idea of not existing anylonger is starting to fill my mind. Which really sucks because that is very new to me.
What I want is to just run my own business. Like that would happen. I am scared of people and men really set me off - funny cuz I am a man.
I just want to hide all the time.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
And I went broke.
I found another job. When I drove my U Haul across country & started work, I had $50 to last me to the end of my first month's work and my first paycheck. No credit cards, bad credit, no one to borrow from in family or among friends. I was 52 years old and had owned a house and two cars, and now this.
I actually went to work hungry until that first paycheck.
It's not the same as you, but I've been close. Then difference was I was broke but had a paycheck coming. But that paycheck in 30 days didn't fill my belly at the moment my stomach grumbled because there was nothing in it and no money to buy anything with.
I'm glad you've got those food stamps, at least. But the situation in humiliating, especially in present day America. I didn't know about DS PTSD back then or I would have come here, at least, to talk about it. I'm glad you're here. Keep coming back.
The silver lining is that only when you hit bottom do you really start to scratch your way to the top.
There are govt loans out there for people wanting to start their own business. Obama is making that possible. Try to research that. If you could get a space that's zoned commercial/residential, you could live at your office.
I bet if you really let the system work for you, you could begin to have that dream.
I believe you can do it. Just take all that anger and channel it into focus and success.
I hope I've given you something to at least think about.
Hugs.
Small steps and deep breaths.
you are not alone, however much it may feel like it
reading your post made me cry.
venting is good. vent away.
i know it's hard. but try not to listen to the people who have negative things to say. i figure their negativity is only about them.
hang in there.
Please keep coming here and venting, talking as much as you need too.
Someone before recommended trying to apply for disability. It's definitely worth a shot.
Your family and friends reactions really sound like garbage. Clearly they dont want to really see the position youre in. I certainly dont see how anyone could think "just get over it" like homelessness is such an easy "get over it" deal. Especially once you put PTSD into the mix. Though, from the sound of it Im guessing maybe they arent so supportive when it comes to that, either.
i wish i had some magic words here that'd solve everything, but all i can say is `you're not alone'
