I'm here too. I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself and found the right kind of help. Please keep asking for more help if you need it. You did the right thing for yourself and everyone who cares about or depends on you. Hang in there until the next good thing! It will come.

reading all your posts bring tears to my eyes..i cant tell you how it touches my heart that people are out there wanting to help me stay alive and are compassionate due to similar suffering..i am usually the one doing that for others..rarely feel understood myself.. thank you. i will ask again if i get in trouble like this in the future.

Please don't do it. You are a special child of God. You will leave so much grief on the people you leave behind, including all of us in this site. In May I came home to find my husband lying on the floor, from attempted suicide. Luckily my therapist and I found him in time. He thought that killing himself was the answer. As soon as he came to in the hospital, he realized how WRONG he really was. He is thankful for being found in time and is continuing with his therapy. Suicide is never the answer. Please call a crisis line? I don't know where you live, but I can give u the crisis line number that I have and maybe they can direct you to a number in your area ok. Please get help and talk to someone professional...Everything looks hopelesss now because you are beyond depressed. Let someone help you find the light at the end of the tunnel! I HAVE been there, suicide seemed the only way out but there is hope! Please we are here to support but maybe you need some meds to help you through this bad time.

again each of you who have contributed and encouraged life, thank you for this. i saw the therapist yesterday, and saw him together with my "Signif. Oth." and am more hopeful. i told him i believe my worst issues that lead to suicidality are infant attachment issues combined with harm done to me as a baby by my father who was in a state of chronic hate and rage at my mother over not aborting me. i spoke of my recent symptoms and he agrees that these are ptsd combined with terror of abandonment and no maternal attachment and he thinks that we can improve the intolerable pain and grief. i said i cannot face life any longer if there is no relief..too many years of this, too much pain, i feel like a burn victim, that everything hurts beyond what i can bear...at least i'm not in that state right now. until it returns again, i dont feel i want to die. i told the man in my life who understands very little of psychological stuff, that its like something from the twilight zone. something sent me into another, very terrible dimension (childhood) and i could not get back, i was trapped there but my body was still where i left it as if i was not "gone" so no one realized that i wasnt there anymore. and i called for help but in the other dimension no one could hear, or if they could, they couldnt see where i was trapped or how to get me out. i felt like i'd be isolated in that hell forever..no way to return. i am not back yet but at least i think there is a way back maybe..
