hi! support groups are new to me so here goes nothing:
my therapist told me to take an online test to determine whether i have symptoms of ptsd or not. i'm not diagnosed and i'm not trying to diagnose myself, but i went through a really emotionally traumatic relationship and still haven't figured out how to become a person again. it feels like he broke me down to the point of no return. i have become this shell of a human that only lives for other people because he made me feel so worthless. i've forgotten how to care about myself. fortunately i don't hate myself anymore, but i don't know how to love myself either.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

For me? An emotionally traumatic relationship = trauma = PTSD. Trauma is trauma, as we like to say on this board. What else was my life? It took my therapist a year to convince me that 17 years of my dad and sister counted as trauma... B/c it wasn't always physical. It doesn't need to be. Control is the endgame of many abusers.
Again, welcome! Healing puma purrs.

What the hell telling a client take an online test
That is his/her job
Sounds like you have symptoms related to trauma
I have diagnosed or told many in person or on my blog they have ptsd it is so under diagnosed
One gal said she had gad
General anxiety disorder
Diagnosed by her therapist
I told her she has complex ptsd
Then I told her to look at the name of her blog
Daughters of bi polar mother’s
They whined about their mother’s abuse everyday
She took her blig down the next day
I told her she was dissociating into her mother’s abuse everyday getting worse
This is a good place to come and the board has wonderful members..... Big hug.....xo
Seeing a psychiatrist could help you with a diagnosis and if you need any medication can prescribe it..... xo
