I finally accept, not happily, that I am not going to get any better. I have worked several years at it and realize 'normal' is a thing of the past.

I had surgery last month for the first time (i'm 65) and hallucinated for 3 days. I was an RN so it was pretty embarrassing.

The doctor just contacted me to tell me I tested positive for active Chronic Hepatits C and need to get treated. I have never done drugs, needles, risky stuff and was able to find out how I was exposed. No wonder I have PTSD. I was married 30 years to an abusive man who was also my dentist for 40 years. When I told him I was filing for divorce and during the 3 years it took  to finalize it, he offered to do my dental work for free. One of his patients has active Hep C and I noticed our appointments were scheduled at the same time. He simply used the unwashed probes from the hep patient who was in the next room, on me.

Really great guy (sic). I am not going to give him the pleasure of knowing his plan worked. I keep hoping he will die before me, but who knows now.
